Coming Together to Remember the Lord

To, the saints and elders of NTGH.

Greetings to you all in the most precious Name of our Savior Jesus Christ.

Dear Brethren.

Praise God for the opportunity to continue to have the Lord`s Supper at our house Church in Kathmandu. Since the time when Elder Sai Weng and Aunty May were with us in Nepal we had a privilege to begin the Bread Breaking Service in our house Church. The Lord has also added a couple and two other new friends with us who are keen to know more about the Lord Jesus Christ and regularly attending the meetings.

Please pray that they will come to know more about the knowledge of the truth from the Bible and continue to grow in their faith and will be accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal Savior.

I thank God and to you all for your consistent prayers and encouragement as I remember all these blessings in front of me are the result of your earnest prayer. The Lord has been gracious, doing His marvelous work amongst the people of Nepal.

I have never thought before in my life that one day I would come across up to this stage to serve my gracious Master, happily & joyfully along with my family in my country Nepal. It is my hope that I and my family will continue to serve our gracious Master and our God with all reverence and fear, honoring Him in all the works of His hands.

Please do continue to uphold us in your prayer, without God`s help and through your support in prayer we can do nothing. Thank you!Grace and Peace be upon all the saints in Malaysia from God our Father and our Lord Jesus Christ.

In His Service Together,

Amar & Family . Kathmandu, Nepal

It has been past five months that I come from Malaysia, missing each one of you and remembering your acts of kindness with my family and we have been giving thanks to the Lord for all of you.

Praise the LORD! for a group of 7 to10 of us, including some of non Christian friends are coming together for Prayer,Bible study and for Fellowship on every Saturday morning from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm.We have been started to assemble in a small group since on 17th of July 2010 at our rental house in Kathmandu and we are also waiting upon the Lord in prayer for the right timing to have opportunity of Lord`s Supper.

Doing As Station Service:
When our Nepali Christian brothers returns back from Malaysia after they finished their working contract at the factories and also those who comes for a short term holidays to visit their families in Nepal on their arrival we go to receive them at the Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu and bring them to our resident for prayer and fellowship and then only following day we would let them go to their respective homes in the villages.

House Visitation Program:
We have regular scheduled for every week 3 days to reach-out to our non Christian relatives and friends those who lives surrounding our resident in Kathmandu valley.
Our Plans ahead:
Church planting , Reunion Camp once in a year and short term Bible training Center to equip believers to serve the Lord in their own local places in Nepal. As we are seeking on God in prayer to organize the First Reunion Camp for two days on November 1st and 2nd this year in Kathmandu with the brothers and sisters in Christ those who had returned back from Malaysia. After I came back from Malaysia, we have been following to catchup those scattered believers by visiting them and also communicating through telephone services. So far we could success to bring10 of them into our contact from the different regions of Nepal. By the grace of God we have found them keeping fine along with their family members and all of them are however attending to their nearer Church service in the villages and in towns.

Purpose: is to have a reunion in the love of God and have fellowship with the believers and stimulate them by the Word of God to work together as the Lord leads in Nepal. Indeed we are very much grateful to God for opening opportunities to serve Him among our Nepalese people in Nepal and we would also like to thank to our prayer partners in Malaysia from the inner most of our hearts for your consistent prayers and encouragement. It`s because of God`s grace and your help through prayers and inspiration that today we are able to come up-to this stage to serve the Lord.

Pray for Vinny--Vietnamese Brother

Vinny came to visit the Vietnamese Congregation in NTGH. He stayed for a while with valid document. Recently he was invited to shared at a church in Medan Indonesia. However, when he returned to Penang from Medan on 19/6 he was mistreated by the authority. He was unreasonably locked up for six hours. His documents were forfeited and not returned to him.

He was placed into Air Asia flight to send 'back to Indonesia". Thank God, the churches in Medan were alerted and leaders approached their authority to help. They managed to stand on surety and got our brother into Medan, pending to go Jarkata Vietnamese Embassy to apply for replacement document and to return to Hanoi.

Thank God for answering our urgent prayer and resolved the matter fast However, as Malaysians we felt ashamed for such action by our people. We just could not understand how we expect tourists to come if we are not treating them respectfully.

Returning with a Mission

Early in the morning on 7th.April,2010 Pastor Kiwi sent Amar to the Penang airport. This time Amar is ready to go home to Nepal. He is returning to Nepal as a commended worker for the Lord.
While Amar was checking in, the airport personnel reminded us that Amar's departure had a small technical problem. His air ticket shows him to leave at Penang airport. However, his immigration exit memo shows him to leave at KLIA. In fact, this is not the fault of Amar. It was the carelessness of the agent and also the overlook of the immigration office in KL.
True enough, the baggage was checked in in faith, but Amar was not allowed departure by the immigration.Oh! We asked for the intervention of God.
We saw one immigration officer coming out of from the immigration post, Pastor Kiwi approached him for help. Pastor Kiwi explained the situation to the officer seeking his assistance. By God's grace, he was willing to help. Finally Amar was allowed to board the flight for Nepal. Praise the Lord.
Now, it is our turn to pray and support him as he begin his mission ministry in Nepal. We will keep you inform from time to time.
