Lending A Helping Hand

Migrant workers are everywhere. Now that God has planted an assembly of VN believers in NTGH, and it has become a sending church, cell groups sprang up here and there.

NTGH must provide the logistic support as much as we can. The VN believers also learn to move around themselves.

Now that they need a driver to take them to Kulim, we just have to see to it. Pastor Kiwi provided the van and pastor Kiwi also looked for a paid driver to drive the Team to kulim on Saturday evening.

Thanks to Emanuel Church of Kulim which opens up their premise for this Kulim VN Cell Group. With the help of a VN lady worker, Ms Woon, the team was able to meet the Kulim local group.

Do continue to remember them in prayer...we hope to see more VN coming to know the Lord. Pastor Kiwi and the new driver fetch the team there and the whole team returned to NT about 11.30pm. A work well done. Praise the Lord.

On MC--- Return to Vietnam

Our sister Thuy was not feeling well for the past many weeks. She received medical advice from doctors to rest. She has also lost a few KG and she looks weak.

Under such health condition, she prefered to return home to rest. She gave herself two months MC and she hopes to return to the field at the end of her two months leave.

Remember her in prayer. She will fly off this Thursday.

Nepali Service in NTGH

Pastor Kiwi was speaking at the Nepali service on Sunday 14/8/2011.

The Nepali congregation was filled with the spirit of praise in their worship. There were three persons leading the worship & praise.

The guitarist and the drumer were all out playing music for the Lord., singing with the congregation as well.

When the turn come for Pastor Kiwi to preach the Word, pastor used both English and Bahasa to get the message across to them. There were two interpretors to help getting the message across in Nepali to their own country men.

Update On KMC & Nepal Mission venture

Just to put our record right, we would like to thank ALL prayer partners and supporters for NTGH Missions.

Thank God that the Kathmandu Missions Venture is now a project and undertaking under Christian Brethren Secretariat of Malaysia (CBSM). NTGH Missions had also transfered RM10,000/= over the CBSM because Amar is now directly supported through CBSM.

Howver, NTGH is still wotking among the Nepali and Vietnamese in our church. God willing, we may consider to start some kind of a language class with the VN believers.

Work Among Migrant Workers

Ever since we started to help ferrying the VN believers to their various cell groups, we have encountered a number of oppositions.

1. The Factory management had rejected our request to allow their VN workers to meet up with our VN group just outside the factory. So the CG in Kuala Kurau is temporarily put on hold.

2. Another factory management came to see for themselves what the VN Christians are doing in their Sunday fellowship meeting in church. The management staff has also stop the VN group to visit and have CG in the VN hostel of their factory. The CG in Sungai Kecil is also put on hold.

The comforting news is that 15 of the factory workers making use of their Sunday off to worship with the VN group in the church.

3.Thank God the CG is Spg Ampat is still running smoothly. The picture shows some of the CG members accompanying our VN group waiting for the van after their night CG sessions.

Do continue to uphold the work among the migrant workers in your prayer always.

Helping Out In the Vietnamese Cell Groups

Of late we have worked out a schedule to help the VN ministry in NTGH to carry our their Cell Group activities.
We have a few brothers helping to drive the van to ferry the leaders and participants to the various CG.
Thursday night in Sg Kecil, Friday night at Taman Perwira Simpang Ampat, Saturday in Kulim, and Sunday in K Kurau. However, due to an unexpected circumstances, the factory authority has barred the workers from coming out of the factory to join the CG in a make shift stall. Thus we are left with three CG activities.

Do pray that God will bless the work.
